On June 12, 2025, heavy rainfall caused severe flooding in Bexar County, Texas, also impacting Live Oak, a city outside of San Antonio. The flooding damaged homes, destroyed personal property, and tragically resulted in loss of life in Bexar County. Residents have also raised concerns that nearby construction worsened the damage by disrupting proper drainage patterns.
Several parks in Live Oak and neighboring Converse were also closed due to unsafe flood conditions.
The following homes on Shin Oak Drive, White Sands Drive, and other nearby streets in Live Oak were observed to have experienced flooding during or after the June 12 event:

In addition to the damage in Live Oak, San Antonio as a whole experienced devastating flooding, resulting in at least 13 confirmed deaths and widespread property damage.
